Connaught Theatre, Worthing
As PART of their popular Saturday Morning Pictures, Worthing Theatres are screening the 1982 classic E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.
Considered one of Steven Speilberg’s finest cinematic works, the science fiction fantasy has lost none of its magic over three decades on.
After a gentle alien becomes stranded on Earth, the being is discovered and befriended by a young boy named Elliott.
Bringing the extra-terrestrial into his suburban California house, Elliott introduces E.T., as the alien is dubbed, to his brother and sister and the children decide to keep its existence a secret.
Soon, however, E.T. falls ill, resulting in government intervention and a dire situation for both Elliott and the alien.
Elliott must hurry to save his new friend while learning about the value of love and what it is to have a home.
This screening is exclusively for children and families. No adults will be admitted without children.
Tickets cost £2.50 and it is advisable to book in advance as they sell out quickly.
