A NEW season beckons for the Rocks just 68 days after their memorable play-off victory against Dulwich Hamlet.
The club are back in action tomorrow as preparations for the new season hot-up.
Bognor will travel to Woodside Road to play Worthing as they begin preparation for life in the National League.
The fixture will be one of four July pre-season friendlies ahead of the big kick-off next month. Chichester City, Crawley Town, one of new boss Sami El-Abd’s former clubs, and Gosport Borough are all to come as the club look to build up player fitness and bed in new signings.
The game against The Mackerel Men will offer an instant reunion with former star James Fraser who made the switch to Worthing in the close season for personal reasons.
The Rocks will hope to keep their former man, who top-scored with 23 goals in last year’s successful promotion push earning him a team of the year nomination, quiet and look to have his replacement in action soon.
Worthing struggled in the Isthmian Premier last season, finishing just four points but eight places above the relegation zone and 36 points shy of the runaway Rocks.
