St George’s Church, Chichester
Chichester Voices are thrilled to be welcoming world-famous trumpeter Crispian Steele-Perkins to perform alongside them for this one-off charity concert.
Known in the industry as one of the world’s leading exponent of the Baroque trumpet (although perhaps most famous as the instrumentalist behind the theme tune to Antiques Roadshow) Crispian will join with the choir in an all-Handel concert.
Together they will perform part of The Messiah, Zadok the Priest and Music for the Royal Fireworks for a concert that is sure to have audiences applauding for more.
this concert also features four professional soloists known as The Orchestra of Friends and experienced organist Richard Allum.
Bass singer David Russell is looking forward to the show. He said: “Getting Crispian to join us is an incredible privilege and we would love to see a packed church to share this unique event.
“Mainly though we would dearly love a large audience to help support the worthwhile charity of St Wilfrid’s Hospice.”
Tickets cost between £10-£12.
