ORIGINAL work will be on sale in Bognor Regis at a charity’s first art auction.
The Aldingbourne Trust is staging the event with lots submitted by students at the Creative Arts studio at Number 73 in Aldwick Road.
Creative Arts has been using the space at the premises since the drop-in centre opened five years ago.
A trust spokeswoman said: “However, the project is proving so popular that space is at a premium.
“In order to enable more people who are supported by the trust to benefit from the opportunities provided, they need to complete a makeover and move the different areas used in the building to give studio more space.
“To do this, they need to fundraise for all the building works to be completed.”
The auction, called Art for our Sake, will take place at the studio from 7pm-9.30pm next Tuesday.
The studio, like the trust, offers adults with learning disabilities the chance to learn and develop their art talents.
Students develop social skills, build their confidence and, more importantly, have fun. One student has had an exhibition at Pallant House in Chichester, New York and London.
Students and people supported by the trust will be involved on the night.
Before the auction, an online catalogue will be available at facebook.com/cas.aldingbourne to place reserves on the lots.
