Worthing Assembly Hall
Worthing Symphony Orchestra pays homage to great American composers, including Leonard Bernstein and George Gershwin, in this exciting night of live music.
Bernstein is considered one of the greatest musicians of the 20th century both as conductor and composer, and 2018 marks the centenary of his birth.
In celebration the orchestra will be performing some of his best-loved music as well as other classic American pieces.
Made up of hugely talented professional musicians under conductor John Gibbons, the Worthing Symphony Orchestra will perform an array of spectacular pieces such as Bernstein’s symphonic dances from West Side Story, the jazz infused Piano Concerto in F by Gershwin and William Alwyn’s suite from Penn of Pennsylvania.
The Worthing Symphony Orchestra never fails to impress audiences and for any lovers of live music this is a show not to be missed.
Tickets cost £19 or only £1 for students and under 18s.
