Cyclist injured

A WOMAN cyclist is being treated in hospital for serious injuries after a collision in Felpham.

 

The 75-year-old was trapped beneath the wheels of a lorry and sustained multiple fractures to her right leg. She was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital at Brighton for treatment.

 

The collision with a yellow Volvo lorry happened at 9.24am last Friday at the junction of Felpham and the B2259 Felpham Way. The lorry driver, a 33-year-old man from Nailsworth in Stroud, was unhurt.
