CUPCAKES equalled cash for charity-minded students at Felpham Community College, pictured above.
The sixth form charity committee organised the baking session in aid of a national day for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Year 7 and 12 students sold cupcakes made by staff, parents and students and raised more than £180.
Sixth former Megan Balcombe, head of the committee, said: “Our committee arranges lots of events and activities at Felpham throughout the year in support of local, national and international charities.
“It is good to get the younger students involved and excited about raising money for lots of worthwhile causes. Some of the cakes made have been fabulous and we have raised over £180 which is great.”
