NATIONAL developer Wates Residential has launched a two-week Building Futures construction training course, pictured above, covering Bognor Regis and Littlehampton.
Jobseekers interested in pursuing a career in construction or residential building are encouraged to register their interest in gaining a career kick-start by contacting Irina Simrok on 07837 322329 or firstname.lastname@example.org
The programme is part of the company’s commitment to providing training and job opportunities across the country.
During the two-week course, participants will be given the chance to visit active construction sites, gain training in key construction and employability skills and work towards achieving their Construction Skills Certification Scheme card.
They will also gain a Level 1 award in health and safety in a construction environment to help open routes to a job or further training on live sites.
Paul Nicholls, the managing director of Wates Residential South, said: “One of the most rewarding things about our Building Futures programme is that we are able to provide sustainable training and employment opportunities for local people as well as offering an insight into how the house building industry operates and the many employment opportunities on offer.
“We look forward to working alongside participants on this course, starting next month.”
