LITTLE swimmers in pyjamas had a splashing time in Walberton to raise money for a hospice.
The youngsters with Hampshire and West Sussex-based baby and children swim school, Puddle Ducks, were sponsored for its annual PJ Week. This sees them learn water safety in their favourite pyjamas, pictured above with teacher Claire Turner at the Hilton Avisford Park Hotel.
The chosen charity for 2018 was Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice and the event raised £1,377 for its work.
Alison Merrett, the owner of Puddle Ducks Hampshire and West Sussex, said: “We are so proud to be able to support such a worthwhile cause by raising an enormous £5,559 for the hospice over the last three years.”
The children love swimming in their pyjamas. They also experience being in the water fully clothed.
