GOING the extra mile to keep disabled people on the move has earned a North Bersted car dealership a regional award.
Yeomans Honda scooped the prestigious recognition for its work with the Motability Car Scheme.
The accolade from Motability Operations recognises and rewards outstanding customer service by its dealerships.
Chichester Road-based Yeomans Honda, pictured above, was cited for its exemplary practice to ensure Motability customers get the right vehicle for their needs.
Peter Wilson, the general manager – dealer relations at Motability Operations, said: “The focus of these awards is to thank our dealer partners for providing a consistently positive customer service experience.
“After all, they are often the first point of contact for our customers.”
The success means Yeomans Honda will be considered for a national award to be announced in early 2019.
Its Bognor Regis general manager, Ian Gibb, said: “All of us at Yeomans Honda are incredibly proud to win this Motability dealer award and are pleased to be recognised for our dedication to working in partnership with the scheme, which is renowned for its high standards.”
Weekly payments of a range of benefits, such as the higher rate mobility payment of the disability living allowance, can be exchanged to lease a new car through the Motability scheme.
