Woman charged in connection with robbery at town pharmacy

A BOGNOR REGIS woman has appeared in court in connection with an incident at a pharmacy.

 

Megan Hammond was due to appear at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, having been remanded in custody at an earlier hearing.

 

Hammond, 29, unemployed, of Chestnut Grove, has been charged with robbery, possessing an offensive weapon in a public place and possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence following an incident on Tuesday.

 

Police were alerted to an intruder alarm activated at Kamsons Pharmacy in Durlston Drive at 9.11am on Tuesday.
