IF YOU enjoy the music of André Rieu, Glenn Miller, Mantovani, the magic of the musicals, the songs of Dolly Parton and the sixties, you’ll love this toe-tapping afternoon of music.
Regis Keyboard and Organ Club has assembled a group of renowned international entertainers, including organist Michael Wooldridge, who has regularly been heard solo on BBC Radio 2 and live all around the world.
The ‘Welsh Wizard’, Byron Jones, started playing at his local chapel, then workingmen’s clubs, followed by larger Welsh venues where he accompanied stars appearing from London Palladium shows. In the last 30 years, he has toured nationally and internationally, including in the USA.
Star singer Samara Stanton has been featured on stages throughout the UK, including at the Royal Albert Hall, and toured Germany, Slovenia and Asia while trombonist Tim Wade has worked with many major stars and bands but is best known at present from his appearances with the ‘Lost and Found Orchestra’, which have taken him to Paris and even to the Kremlin in Russia.
Dean Morris, the ‘drummer to the stars’, has had a glittering career, since starting at a young age working with Russ Conway, Max Bygraves and the Beverley Sisters.
