An open and informal play reading is being held by The Regis Players for its new production.
The session will take place this Sunday and give would-be actors the chance to see if they can be on the stage.
It will take place at 6pm at Felpham Memorial Village Hall, Vicarage Lane in Felpham.
The group’s next production will be Philip King’s comedy farce, See How They Run.
A Regis Players spokesman said: “This will be an opportunity for people of any age who want to get involved in community theatre to come along and have a go at reading from a script and taking direction.
“This event is open to all and the play reading will be followed by auditions to cast the play later this month.”
The action in See How They Run takes place during the Second World War in the fictitious village of Merton-cum-Middlewick.
it features a cast of six males and three females.
The Regis Players is an established amateur theatre group and has received many production and technical theatrical awards.
