Rocks fans could see some temporary faces return on a more permanent basis as Bognor begin building a squad for next season.
After a disappointing league campaign which saw the club finish 14th in the Bostik Premier, manager Jack Pearce is busy assembling a side for next year.
Negotiations with a number of key players from last year’s squad remain ongoing.
But Pearce is likely to want to talk to Joe Tomlinson and Dan Smith, both of whom starred for Bognor last year on loan but have since been released from Brighton & Hove Albion and Portsmouth respectively.
One player who is unlikely to return to the Nye Camp next season though is Mason Walsh, who is looking to land a professional contract in the United States.
Pearce and first team coach Robbie Blake will hope to make a number of new additions to the squad.
One potential avenue is a trials day which is planned for next month.
The club say it has been inundated with eager players keen to impress at the session being held at the East Dean FC pre-season training HQ.
After a selection process around 20 of them have been selected to be put through their paces to see if they can boost the squad ahead of next season.
Pearce said: “We’ve been pleasantly surprised by the standard of some of the applicants and we remain hopeful that this pool of untapped talent can throw up one or two gems who we can integrate into the squad.
“You never know in football and so we will see how they perform on the day and subsequently if we like the look of them.”
Rocks fans will have a number of new trips on the cards next season after non-league allocations were announced.
East Thurrock United have joined the Bostik Premier after being relegated from National South.
Promoted sides include Essex- based Bowers & Pitsea, who won the Isthmian North, and Cray Wanderers, who were champions of the Isthmian South East.
Hertfordshire side Cheshunt join after winning the South Central playoffs while Horsham will provide Rocks with a Sussex derby after the relegation of Whitehawk and Burgess Hill. The season starts on August 10.
Rocks will start the season on minus one point after an administration error last year.
