Primary school pupils in Barnham will be among those to benefit from backing from a firm of estate agent.
Barnham Primary School was one of the first schools to sign up to receive £100 from Sims Williams for every sale and property rental it achieves.
Headteacher James Everett is hoping the initiative will raise much-needed funds to buy sports and education equipment.
“Everyone involved with our school works very hard to ensure our children have the tools they need to thrive and learn, and support from local businesses like Sims Williams makes an important contribution,” he said.
Three primary schools in the area have joined the scheme so far. The offer is open to all primary schools between Emsworth and Climping.
Every time a parent, teacher, member of staff or resident mentions their local participating school while selling or letting property with Sims Williams the company will donate £100 on completion.
Many of the firm’s property consultants at its offices in Walberton, Arundel and Chichester went to the schools. Some have children who are pupils.
