Lower Lawns, Arundel Castle, Mill Road entrance, BN18 9AB
Saturday, June 29, 6.30pm
Speaker and international best-selling author Tristan Gooley will be taking his audience on a navigational journey of his expeditions in an event in aid of The Sussex Snowdrop Trust.
In his illustrated talk, he will be describing the ancient techniques of natural navigation in the desert, on ice, in the jungle, scaling mountains, sailing on oceans, and touring the English countryside. Tristan will explain how natural navigation can enrich all journeys, large and small.
The Sussex Snowdrop Trust supports more than 70 families in the Chichester and Bognor Regis area, providing specialist nurses who care for children, who have a life-threatening or terminal illness, in their own homes.
The charity is hosting the event with the kind permission of the Duke of Norfolk, in a marquee from Tents n Events with decoration by The Beautiful Day. Wine and cheese will be served prior to this illustrated talk.
Tristan said he was keen to support Snowdrop. “When I was approached to speak at this event at Arundel Castle, I did not hesitate to be involved. As a father, I know how precious our children are and that any one of us could need the help of these incredible nurses.
“I hope people come along to enjoy this wine and cheese evening and discover the wonderful world of natural navigation. “
Tickets at £25 are available from The Sussex Snowdrop Trust’s office by calling 01243 572433.
