Volunteers are being sought to help to create a community garden in Bognor Regis town centre.
The Aldingbourne Trust is holding two sessions from 10am-2pm on August 14 and August 17 to encourage people to help out.
The events are taking place at Bognor Regis Library in London Road, where the garden will be sited.
A trust spokesman said: “These days will focus on getting the groundwork completed with the first day encompassing the landscaped elements of the garden, such as assembling raised beds and laying paths.
“The second day will be more family-orientated and focused on planting and painting. Following these initial days, we will then hold regular gardening sessions for people who want to volunteer to help maintain the garden.
The project is unique for the trust and links back to the horticultural start of the charity.
The design of the garden has evolved from a consultation at the library last November. It includes a bespoke reading area, raised beds, a sensory area and murals with the aim of being colourful and fun. The plants used will all be drought tolerant
The garden has received grants from National Lottery Awards for All, Southern Water and others.
