Expansion is being considered at a Bognor Regis youth club.
The organisers at the 39 Youth Club are looking into possibility of opening for a second night a week.
The club has been running on Tuesday afternoons for 11-14-year-olds for some two-and-a-half years.
But they believe the demand is there for those aged over 14.
One of the club’s founders, Vicky Hennessy, pictured above right, said: “We would like to add another club night for 14-year-olds.
“We have got a youth worker but we need the money to pay her for a second night a week.
“The youth worker, Vicky Mitchell, is great. The kids absolutely love her.”
The club meets at the Find It Out centre in Church Path, off Glamis Street. Its regular 15-20 members enjoy a range of activities. They include cookery lessons and obstacle courses.
Next Tuesday will see a visit by a parliament of owls for them to enjoy. The event is open to all young people, with a £1 entry fee for members and £2 non-members.
The club will also have a fundraising presence on one of the days, August 3, of the Hotham Park Country Fair. They have been allowed to share the Scouting stand and will have several fun competitions to enter.
