History on the roads will be on display as annual gala returns

Vehicles spanning nine decades of motoring will be on show this weekend in Bognor Regis.

 

The years from 1928-1918 are covered in the latest staging of A Drive Through Time motor gala.

 

Being staged at West Park on Sunday, it will feature such classic marques as a Morris light van, a Wolseley Hornet Special and an Austin Healey 3000 alongside current manufacturers like Jaguar, Honda and BMW.

 

The event is being staged for the eighth year by Bognor Regis Town Council. The 130 vehicles -and 10 motorcycles – will be on view from 11am-4pm.

 

Some of the cars will be present on the stands of four motor clubs – Manhood, UK Cruisers, Phatt Club and Sadcase – will also be present –

 

Jazz Bytes will perform live music for the first hour before the F1 British Grand Prix is shown on the big screen live from Silverstone.

 

Further enjoyment will come from a kidszone and a craft and charity fair. Plenty of refreshments will be available.
