A third arrest has been made by police investigating the death of a man in Bognor Regis.
Detectives from the Surrey and Sussex major crime team made the arrest of an 18-year-old man last Thursday on suspicion of attempting to pervert the course of justice and of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
After being interviewed, he was released under investigation.
The officers are investigating the murder of Daniel Weyman, 32, of Belmont Street, in Belmont Street in the early hours of last September 22.
A 40-year-old man and a woman, aged 35, were arrested that day and are also currently released under investigation.
Daniel sustained serious injuries just before 1.50am on the Sunday. He was taken by air ambulance to hospital in Southampton where he died that afternoon.
Detective Chief Inspector Alex Geldart, of the major crime team, said: “This is a complex investigation and we are currently in consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service.
“Daniel’s family are being kept informed of developments.
“We are still keen to talk to anyone who has any other information that could help.”
